Organization: The Computer Center for Visually Impaired People (CCVIP)
Background: The Computer Center for Visually Impaired People (CCVIP) has been in the business of Assistive Technology training, research and service since 1978. CCVIP strives to increase the freedom, independence, and productivity of people who are blind or visually impaired through the power of digital technology. They accomplish this through training, applied research, product testing and development, and community awareness initiatives.
Task: CCVIP will be hosting their 11th annual conference! Assist the staff for their conference and the administrative preparation at Baruch.
This is a good opportunity for volunteers to see new technology and refreshment will be served.
Note: New volunteers to CCVIP Conference must take their sighted guide training. RSVP form includes the guide training sessions so please pick one.
2 Full Volunteer Credits for each section (Section 1 or Section 2). For members in the volunteer committee, the maximum hourly credit for this event is 4 hours.
